Ragga / Dancehall
Ragga, Dancehall also called, is a full-energy dance style from Jamaica, a type of reggae. This dance style developed in the dance halls and has since gained influences from African, salsa, hip hop and oriental and exercised to such Sean Paul’s musi . The music is characterized by an artist who sing or rap over a dance-friendly and often hard beat, faster than in reggae music. Ragga is a dance style that we often see in music videos. It is very much about feel and design and style requires lots of energy, hips and a properly rocking the body. Here you have to shake, wiggle and roll the hips, shoulders, chest and especially your butt! Ragga is a fun and beautiful dance style with a lot of feeling where you can really let go of all inhibitions!

Hiphop
Hip Hop / Streetdance is today a very broad dance genre that covers a variety of styles, ranging from popping into ragga. The genre is constantly evolving and each individual has their own personal style, which means infinite variation. Hip Hop is danced primarily to RnB and hip hop. What we will focus on during the semester is “New School”, the later styles in hip-hop, with influences from dance in Los Angeles. The lesson begins with a basic warm up, strength training and then choreography. We will be working a lot on the personal style through both choreography and improvisation.

Streetjazz Feminin Vibe
Street Jazz feminine vibe is just what it sounds like, a mix of street dance and jazz with elements of a more feminine vibe! We start the lesson with a warm up, where we go through the whole body and makes coordination, strength, and agility exercises. After the combination, and sometimes even short movement combinations across the floor.
The style is danced mostly to R&B music.

Streetfunk / Dance
Streetdance is a generic name for a variety of dances that b-boying, locking, popping and Newschool. Nowadays counts also house and ragga in street dance.
Classes begin with a warm up and is followed by step and movement combinations. Streetdance usually danced to hip-hop and R&B, and each teacher has their own personal style. To be yourself and find your own style is for many basic, but mainly street dance goes on to improvise and follow the music.
